Worst FSA Benefits Management ever experienced

I have used many FSA benefits over the years. This company has shown time and time again that they don't care about their customers. They are worse than insurance companies. Constantly asking for personal medical records when they are not entitled to them because they state they have to deem the purchase "medically necessary"!?!?! An FSA account is nothing more than a pretax bank account with my money in it! Purchased goods and services only need to be proven medically related, not medically necessary!!! And even after spending hours on the phone with unprofessional operators, filling out requested forms and giving them everything they need, not want, they still drag their feet to pay the bills with my money!!!

Worst company ever

Paid them $3114 they said we owed for having no insurance for 4 months. They said we owed in the beginning? Then I mailed my payment on Feb. 14th. Our card is always deactivated!! Because they give you a 30 day grace period but if you don't pay your premium on the 1st of every month its deactivated until you do. They NEVER told us that so out of the 3 months we've had insurance our card has only worked for 2 weeks. Hate them. They have broke our bank never get cobra. Go to private insurance for health insurance. Cheaper and honest. We are filing a complaint and suing if needed. This sucks. STAY AWAY!!

Card ISSUES!!!!

My card does not work!!! I have called, sent emails, and called several times. no call back, put on hold and no one ever answer, my card has money but I can not use it. This is Horrible customer service and i plan to report this to the county so they can find another company.

Never spoke with anyone

I need help filing a claim & no one called me back. Your customer service people need to call customers back in a timely fashion so they can answer simple questions. We put out money in your hands & expect some respect back from you. What is the fastest way to get a callback from you for answers to our questions, or else make things clearer do we dont misunderstand how to properly do things and get the correct results?

Customer service

I'm still waiting for Ameriflex to balance out my account. I had submitted charges that were denied so I resubmitted receipts for allowable charges that I paid for out of pocket. Those submissions should have countered my denied claims but they were also denied. A called and spoke with someone at Ameriflex a week or two ago that verified I was correct and my account should be even now and that they were going to fix it but it still doesn't seem fixed, it shows the transactions are still pending.

Terrible customer service

The absolute worst company to deal with. Having an issue that since june despite many phone calls,emails Still remains unresolved with zero help from anyone. Their idea of customer service is a complete joke

Card does not work, poor customer service wait time, spelled my name wrong on card, after 2 years still not fixes

I received a new card in the mail which was not active (was declined at the dr's office) and had the incorrect spelling of my name again, After being on hold for 40+ minutes I chose the call back option. After waiting 4 business days without a call back I called again. CS person had an accent that was very difficult to understand. I am without a working card for at least 2 weeks while they correct my name.

Denied monthly claim for orthodontist treament

I had a orthodontist treatment contract with monthly payment plan. The charge is from the dental office. I have submitted whatever paper from the dental office gave me. I call them and explain. No avail. Such a pain to work with.

When I hear, "we are just following the rules", I call complete BS. For instance, there are no IRS rules that say you can buy a blood pressure cuff from Walgreens but not from Wal-Mart or Amazon, but that's what I was told by an Ameriflex representative. He claimed one...

Lost money

I submitted 4 pages of documentation for a day care camp, but they found some information missing and denied the claim. I called to fix the problem and resubmitted only to find another problem. They took to long to get back to me and the period ended, so basically out $380

User's recommendation: Run from them, just submit paperwork when you do your taxes.

Worst Experience for FSA

Ameriflex is refusing to approve and reimburse me for a claim I submitted almost 2 weeks ago. It has been sitting in a Pending Status. There is money in the account and the claim is for Childcare Expenses paid in 2020. I have tried contacting their Customer Service on multiple occasions this week only to receive canned responses and nothing more. Their FAQ states that, "Direct deposit reimbursements should be received within 3-5 days from the processing date." They have no regard for their customers or for following their own policies. I regret making the decision to open the FSA through my employer and would not recommend this company to anyone.

No no no

Our company uses ameriflex and puts in money for the entire year to cover medical cost. Every single time we use the card at the same doctors offices we've went to for 5 years we get paperwork from ameriflex asking to send in explanation of benifents I understand they say it's because of the irs blah blah blah but we've received the same paperwork asking for explanation of benefits for every single doctors visit. It's very inconvenient and frustrating. It's obvious the purchases are made to a doctors office.

Don't use this company

Ameriflex is a third party billing for my post retirement dental insurance through my company, who generously offer retirees the ability to continue a group rate. I pay the whole bill annually, which should be more convenient for them. The problem is that they refuse to send me an annual invoice, and they state that I must remember to go to their website once a year at a certain time to check and see if they amount has changed and they are ready to accept my payment. If I forget this, I will be dropped. I would not open a monthly debit with them due to the vast majority of reviews that say they are inept at this task. So I far I have opted to send the whole amount at once in check form only. I have never dealt with a legitimate company that refuses to send an invoice. They will, however, send "payment coupons" whatever that is. I remember payment coupons from 40 years ago! LOL Anyway, I guess I have to remember every year to keep checking back to see if the payment amount is the same for the following year, and then remember to send a payment (without an invoice to include in the envelope, which is scary with this company) to them once a year. They did offer to send a book of payment coupons so I could use one of the envelopes! No really...this happened last year. Seems like a waste money, but oh well. Ridiculous and backward to say the least. Also, the employees treated me poorly, and I have to say this is my first experience with any company that treated me this way. I have money. I want to give them money. It is just very hard to this. I will send a letter to my company to see if they would kindly consider going through some other company. This company is not used to dealing with people who are ready, willing and able to pay them. I sent an email to corporate, but, not surprisingly, I received no reply. I have a strange feeling about this company. Something just doesn't feel right.
